An inspector with no commercial stake in the purchase order stands in front of the equipment while it is still being made.
- Nonconformities are raised while the equipment is still on the supplier's floor
- Release is recommended by an independent party, not by the party being paid to ship
- Every hold and witness point in the approved ITP is attended and recorded
- Certificates, heat numbers and test reports are verified against the purchase order
- Progress is expedited and reported early enough that the schedule can still be recovered

Featured Project
Bioreactor Pre-FAT and Riboflavin Coverage Testing — Slovenia
PSPP provided independent Pre-FAT inspection and expediting support for four stainless-steel bioreactor vessels manufactured for an international pharmaceutical expansion project. The two-day assignment included riboflavin spray-coverage testing, dimensional spot checks, surface-roughness verification and readiness review before Final FAT.

Gas Turbine Radial Clearance Inspection — Italy
PSPP provided independent inspection support for the final radial clearance verification of a large industrial gas turbine at a manufacturing facility in Italy. The assignment covered both compressor and turbine blade clearance measurements prior to preparation of the unit for shipment.

PED Category IV Pressure Vessel — Incoming QC & Notified-Body Challenge
Incoming quality control that caught serious weld root-pass defects on a PED Category IV pressure vessel already CE-marked and stamped by a Notified Body — and formally challenged the conformity assessment.

East African LNG Onshore Pipeline — SAWL Line Pipe Inspection
Third-party inspection and expediting of SAWL line-pipe production for an East African LNG onshore pipeline — from plate through forming, tack welding and SAW to weldability testing and 100% NDT.

What is Third-Party Inspection (TPI) and why is it important?
Third-Party Inspection (TPI) is an independent verification service performed by a qualified inspection body that is independent of both the buyer and the seller. TPI is critical in industrial projects to ensure that equipment and materials conform to applicable engineering specifications, codes, and standards — protecting the client from receiving non-conforming equipment that could cause failures, delays, or safety incidents. PSPP acts as a neutral, independent TPI body operating a Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001:2015.
What quality standards does PSPP inspect against?
PSPP's inspectors and engineers work to internationally recognized codes and project specifications — reviewing mill certificates, witnessing welding qualification and NDT results, and verifying dimensions and performance data against the manufacturing drawings and contractual requirements for each piece of equipment.

What is Expediting and how does it benefit my project?
Expediting is a proactive service that monitors supplier manufacturing schedules and resolves delays before they impact your project delivery dates. PSPP expeditors visit vendor facilities, track fabrication milestones, identify risks early, and work with suppliers to recover schedule slippage. This prevents costly project delays and keeps procurement on track.

What is the difference between QA and QC?
Quality Assurance (QA) is a proactive, process-oriented approach that prevents defects by establishing and maintaining quality management systems, procedures, and audits. Quality Control (QC) is a reactive, product-oriented activity that identifies defects through inspection and testing. PSPP provides both: QA through supplier qualification, audit programs, and ITP development; and QC through hands-on inspection, testing witness, and dimensional verification.
